Rigid core bamboo flooring (with SPC core) is a new type of bamboo that is considered engineered flooring but contains a Stone Polymer Composite Core (SPC Core) as opposed to traditional engineered multi-ply or HDF core. These floors have exceptional water-resistant qualities, and high dimensional stability, so they experience very little expansion and contraction. Our version of these floors also includes an attached IXPE underlayment pad, so they can be installed in basements and even directly on top of concrete.
