Product details below for Duchateau's Chateau Collection Euro Oak 9/16" x 7.56" x 2-7' Bois Fume OIL Brushed Character 3.5mm Wear Layer Engineered Prefinished Flooring from The Fantastic Floor.

Duchateau's Bois Fumé is a warm mid tone natural brown shade. Smoked wood, or bois fumé in French, is a time-honored tradition of treating wood to bring out the natural darkened tones, changing the wood’s tannins in the process. It also makes the appearance more luminous, casting a glow from within that is impossible to replicate using heavy surface stains. A light wire-brushing is used to subtly bring out the grain and create an ultra-matte non-reflective surface.
