Prefinished Hardwood Flooring
Aluminum Oxide finish, a beautiful semi-gloss, and plenty of widths: Premium prefinished hardwood flooring as it should be, and as you like it.
Prefinished wood flooring is solid hardwood flooring that can be purchased with a finish of aluminum oxide and micro-beveling already applied. Our
prefinished products have 8 coats of aluminum oxide, helping to protect them from household wear and tear, scuffs, dings, and scratches. The finish
on these products is 40 gloss. Typical sizes are 3/4" thick with fixed widths of 3", 4" or 5", and nested random lengths in each box varying from 1' to 7' long
with an average length of 3.0 to 3.5'. Occasionally, we will also offer shorter lengths for example 1-4' or 1-3'.
Prefinished hardwood flooring takes a walk on the wild side with our exotic line.
Our prefinished flooring line consists of both domestic and exotic species. Our exotic species hail from around the world, with many of the species among the hardest and most durable in the world.
We have full time quality control staff at each of our mills to ensure that the highest standards of fit and finish are applied to all prefinished products
we manufacture and import.
Only sustainably harvested prefinished hardwood flooring need apply.
As most of our prefinished flooring consists of our exotic hardwood line, we take special care to ensure that all our
products and harvesting practices are environmentally safe and sustainable. We work closely with IBAMA, an organization that was created to monitor
tropical Brazilian forests in order to keep our harvesting safe and our replanting practices effective.
Keeping the hardwood flooring industry in tropical regions healthy creates jobs and protects the forests.
By adding value to the standing forest, we
protect the forests from being clear cut in order to produce agricultural imports, which would be the alternative use for the natural resources
in the region if timber exportation were not a thriving industry in the region. Creating hardwood flooring manufacturing jobs tied to
the responsible harvest of forest products
is an excellent way to provide jobs in tropical regions while preserving and adding value to the standing forest.
