Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Engineered hardwood flooring brings increased dimensional stability and durability to the hardwood flooring world.

Engineered hardwood flooring is the most dimensionally stable type of hardwood available. With a multi layer core and a high grade wear layer, our engineered hardwood flooring achieves this dimensional stability by placing the grain of each ply perpendicular to the ply above and below it. This way, natural swelling and contraction is compensated for, creating an incredibly stable floor for your home.

High grade, premium quality prefinished is easy to install and requires no finish.

On top of the multi layer core of our engineered flooring is a carefully selected high grade prefinished wear layer. Because the layer is prefinished, it requires no additional sanding or staining. As a result, once the floor is installed, excluding the required drying-time for a glue-down installation, the floor is ready to walk on.

Environmentally friendly, FSC certified engineered hardwood flooring, from core to veneer.

In addition to being mechanically sound, our engineered flooring is environmentally friendly. Many of our engineered products are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, or FSC, a council created to oversee the harvest of forest resources throughout the world. The certification guarantees that the harvesting practices used to create these products were sustainable and responsible for the well-being of the forests of origin of each product. We believe that it is essential for the continued well-being of these forests and our planet that companies utilizing natural resources to manufacture products do their utmost to ensure that their methods are sustainable.

Nail down, glue down, or floating floor: Versatility and stability make an engineered hardwood floor a smart choice.

Not only is our engineered hardwood flooring a responsible choice, it is also incredibly versatile and affordable. It can be installed as a floating floor, nailed down, or even glued down. As a result, engineered flooring can be installed nearly anywhere in a structure, be it over a radiant heat source, in a basement, over concrete, and above or below grade. Our engineered flooring products come in a variety of species both exotic and domestic. Many of our domestic engineered products also feature a variety of stain options in addition to their natural coloring, such as Honey, Gunstock, Chestnut or Cayenne. Finally, because of its ply core layers, it is often more affordable than solid hardwood flooring.
